In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors and activities such as kayaking, hiking, camping, and traveling.

Tami Voeller

Primary Lead Guide

Tami has lived in several places in Montana since starting 4th grade.  She has been married for 32 years and has four children, who have taught her more about children than all of the classes She has taken. Tami stayed home with her children when they were young before going back to work. During this time, She did a lot of volunteer work at her children’s schools helping with children’s reading, math, or anything else the teachers felt students needed extra work on. She also taught classes for kindergarten and first grade children at church for approximately eight years.  When she first started in a childcare setting, she was in a regular preschool classroom as an aide. Several months later, Tami was asked to try the only Montessori room where she worked. When she started in the Montessori room, it was like she had come to a place where everything made sense! "Montessori was basically everything I had found worked with my children when they struggled to learn something, so it was a natural fit." Tami took the Montessori training offered by her employer offered and has been happily teaching in Montessori classrooms ever since.

Veronica Cardenas was born and raised in Mexicali, Mexico, where she earned her Elementary Education degree and worked at Felix de Jeduss Rougier School teaching 2nd, 5th and 6th grades.  When she was 26 she enrolled in an 18 month intensive Envlish course in San Pedro, CA with the intent to return to Mexico to teach English so Native Spanish speakers.  Fate had other plans, and Veronica ended up meeting her husband and moving to the US permanently.  Veronica stayed at home with her two daughters, and when they became school age, she accepted a position teaching Spanish at Mandarin Christian School in Jacksonville Florida, where she remained for seven years.  From there, she and her husband moved to Helena as they desired to raise their children in the natural beauty that Helena offers.  In MT, she has worked as a SPanish teacher and substitute teacher in the Clancy and Boulder schools, as well as doing part time work at Sole Sisters.  She has been with Bloom since fall of 2018 and we are excited to have her as part of our Bloom family!
