Montessori In Place
Bloom Montessori School is a private Montessori preschool, serving children ages 3 months through 6 years old, with room to grow and expand. We provide a regular school-year schedule along with a summer program.
The vision of Bloom Montessori School is to meet the needs of the individual child, by creating enriching and engaging learning experiences that foster independence, curiosity, peacefulness, creativity, responsibility, kindness, compassion, stewardship, and a sense of community.
WHOLE CHILD EDUCATION
Our program follows Maria Montessori's conceptualization of early childhood education as being for the whole child, and as such we offer classrooms in which content areas are interconnected, nurturing the whole child.
Academic and Life Skills
Our classrooms contain Montessori materials that cover the entire Montessori curriculum, including self care, sensorial materials, math materials, language/literacy materials and science materials.
GRACE AND COURTESY
Raising Caring Children
In addition to academic education, the Montessori curriculum offers lessons in Grace and Courtesy, in which children learn to be respectful, courteous and graceful with peers and adults. We are here to work towards a more peaceful and empathetic world, one child at a time.
"Establishing lasting peace is the work of education."
Bloom Montessori school offers children a chance to explore the Montessori curriculum and materials, guided by certified and trained Montessori lead guides. Within the Montessori curriculum, the child will have the opportunity to learn care of self, build independence, and foster a love of learning as well as progress through the academic curriculum that meets or exceeds what children will be learning in public schools, up to second and third grade state standards.
